The first release in the Waterford Distillery's Arcadian Series, Gaia 1.1 is an organic Irish single malt whisky, as certified by the Organic Trust! This expression uses Irish barley grown by seven different farmers, and matured in a combination of first-fill American oak, virgin American oak, Vin Doux Naturel and French oak casks.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Honey, melted butter, fresh orange oil and a hint of cranberry.
Palate: Vibrant barley notes, supported by more citrus and fruit, as well as a growing touch of earthy spice.
Finish: Dried peels, cedar, spring blossom and menthol.
