Description: Our intention for the Estate Red Blend was to produce a wine that represents our unique location. Over the years we have selected varietals that best suit our terroir, planting them on the lower and warmer slopes of Klein Constantia. Located in one of the coolest wine growing regions in South Africa, we are able to achieve ripeness in conjunction with delicate tannins, allowing us to create a more elegant and refined red wine. Description Deep ruby red in appearance. Rich dark red fruit dominate the nose followed by aromas of black cherries and wood spice. On the palate, finely grained tannins are subtly integrated with delicate oak flavours. Elegant and refined with a savoury finish showcasing that typical cool climate Constantia style.
