Glenmorangie A Tale of Spices is a bold and imaginative limited‑edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky inspired by the vibrant sights, aromas and flavours of spice markets around the world. Created by Dr Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald, this expression begins with Glenmorangie matured in ex‑bourbon casks before being finished in a unique combination of four different cask types — including Moroccan red wine casks, new charred oak, shaved toasted red wine and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks — resulting in a richly complex profile that is perfumed, sweet and deeply spicy. On the nose, it offers fragrant floral tones and an array of exotic spices, while the palate delivers layers of sizzling spice balanced by sweetness and nutty undertones, finishing long with hints of herbal and warming spice characteristics.
