Raven Rare Bottling Note
Raven Rare blended Scotch whisky is made in batches of approximately 25,000 bottles from a careful selection of grain and malt whiskies (with a good portion of the malt coming from Glen Moray). We've been trying to think of a good way to work a reference to Edgar Allen Poe in here, but it's surprisingly hard, so we're just going to write Nevermore in bold and call it good.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Vanilla, toffee apple and fried banana, with plenty of nutty malt underneath.
Palate: Buttered scones, biscuity oak and dried grass combine with peach and fresh grapefruit before a dusting of cinnamon emerges.
Finish: A herbaceous touch of thyme lingers.
