In honour of the five generations of Master Blenders who have been behind Chivas Regal over the years, this expression features single malts from five different Speyside distilleries, namely Allt-á-Bhainne, Braeval, Longmorn, Strathisla and Tormore.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Richly honey'd, with a kick of fiery cinnamon underneath. Tinned peaches and crumbly fudge.
Palate: Rounded fruit notes all the way throughout (poached pears, clementines and a touch of persimmon). Slight drying notes of fresh barley.
Finish: Sugared peels, dark chocolate and a pinch of ginger.
