Chateau Prieure Lichine - Margaux 4eme Cru Classe, 2014 75cl

Chateau Prieure Lichine - Margaux, France 75cl

Winery: Chateau Prieure-Lichine

Grape :  Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Petit Verdot

Region :  Margaux, France

Alcohol Content: 13.5%

Food Pairing: Château Prieuré-Lichine  pairs beautifully with roasted or grilled red meats like beef tenderloin, ribeye, or leg of lamb, as well as duck breast or game dishes such as venison or dove. It also complements mature semi-hard cheeses like Cantal, Saint-Nectaire, or Tomme de Savoie.

Description: Château Prieuré-Lichine  is a Fourth Growth  Bordeaux from the Margaux appellation, known for its elegance, aromatic complexity, and balanced structure. The wine is a classic Left Bank blend, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and a touch of Petit Verdot, grown on well-drained gravel soils that lend freshness and refinement. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with violet highlights and a complex nose of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and black cherry, complemented by floral notes, subtle spice, and gentle hints of oak. On the palate, it is medium-to-full bodied with well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and concentrated dark fruit flavors, finishing long and harmonious with subtle layers of spice, cocoa, and roasted nuances.
