Bellevoye White French Triple Malt Whisky 43% 70cl
Bellevoye Blanc Bottling Note
One of four expressions from the Bellevoye, each of which are blended malts made with single malt whiskies from around France. This particular expression is an unpeated whisky that has enjoyed a finishing period in Sauternes casks. The intensely sweet wine which was housed in the casks previously has helped to impart bright notes of juicy fruit.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Fig, lemon, vanilla ice cream and chocolate digestives.
Palate: More biscuit notes here (now it's Hobnobs and chocolate-chip cookies), with refreshing nectarine and honeydew melon developing.
Finish: Soft oak peppery hints shoot out from behind white grape and toffee.
